MONTHLY NEWSLETTERS
The monthly chamber newsletter offers information and opportunities for promotion and recognition for chamber members and their employees. It is emailed out at the first of every month to our members.
EMAIL UDPATES
Email updates offer Chamber members a chance to showcase a particular event or promotion between newsletter mailings. This service is free and is sent out to all member subscribers. Provide us your e-mail address and we will place you on our list to receive these Updates. Your e-mail address will be kept confidential and will only be used for the purpose of delivering these messages to you.
RIBBON CUTTINGS
The chamber staff schedules ribbon-cutting ceremonies to commemorate new chamber members and/or existing chamber members who open a new business location. A photo taken during the ceremony will then be published in the two local newspapers.
CHAMBER WEBSITE
Member businesses have the opportunity to place their news releases on the press release section of the chamber’s web site. This service, which is free to chamber members, can be utilized for promoting a new product or service, announcing extended business hours, or to advertise an upcoming calendar event.
CHAMBER MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY
The staff of the chamber keeps an online all-inclusive directory of member businesses. Every chamber member business is listed in the directory. This directory is a great tool to promote your business, and is exclusive to chamber members. The directory is available online and is updated regularly. BUSINESS REFERRALS
Your Chamber receives hundreds of calls and correspondence each year requesting information on businesses, their products, and services. Chamber staff uses the Chamber Resource Directory to respond to these inquiries. Your membership is truly an investment, as members receive priority when staff makes referrals.
CREDIBILITY BY ASSOCIATION
When people know you are a member of the Chamber of Commerce, they know you are part of a group of professionals working together to positively impact both the economy and the quality of life in our community.

The chamber offers cost-effective opportunities for you to maximize your company’s exposure and to reach your customers and potential customers through targeted advertising, marketing and sponsorship.
Networking Oppurtunities
REGULAR MEMBER GATHERINGS
All chamber members and employees are invited to attend regular gatherings such as breakfasts and luncheons. Emails are sent out to notify members about an upcoming event, and each event typically includes a meal and educational program or entertainment.
ANNUAL BANQUET & MEETING
This banquet celebration is held annually each winter, allowing business and community leaders an opportunity to gather, socialize and celebrate positive community efforts that have taken place throughout the previous year. More than 200 people typically attend the banquet and annual meeting, enjoying a formal dinner followed by a short program and silent auction
LEGISLATIVE COFFEE
These events allow local individuals the chance to network with our legislators directly. Donuts and coffee are provided.
Business Assistance and Economic Development
GIFT CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS
Over 120 members currently participate in the chamber’s gift certificate program, Chamber Bucks. This classic program encourages local money to stay local, benefiting Chamber members who participate. Over $25,000 in gift certificates are purchased annually by individuals and businesses, and can be redeemed at any member’s business just like a check.
LOCATION RESOURCES
Chamber staff can assist you in locating space, identifying markets and other resources. An available building inventory is maintained and updated on a regular basis. Members also have access to business references, economic data, census information, demographics, area phone books, city directories and much more in the Chamber’s library.
