The Hillsboro Development Corp.

WE ARE HERE TO HELP YOUR BUSINESS GROW

The Hillsboro Development Corporation (HDC) was established for the purpose of developing the Hillsboro’s 160 acre Industrial Park located one mile east and north of the city. The Industrial Park is presently home to approximately 12 businesses with several prime building lots available. HDC is actively seeking prospective businesses to locate in the Industrial Park by offering incentives, tax abatements, etc.

Hillsboro Main Street and Highway Commercial Business districts also provide an active business climate serving Marion County and beyond. Most of our businesses are locally-owned, however we have a number of regional- and nationally-owned businesses in Hillsboro as well. Our Main Street business district has approximately eighty-five percent occupancy with well-kept establishments. If you are interested in starting a business, Hillsboro has the infrastructure and resources to assist you in meeting your goals.

The overall purpose of HDC is to provide Hillsboro with a strong business climate where entrepreneurs can grow and succeed.
